Treehouse on Smith Lake at Fire Tower Camp The Treehouse at Fire Tower Camp

2 Bedrooms • 1 Bathroom 1 Bath • Sleeps 1-6In the trees above a quiet Smith Lake cove, the Treehouse is part cozy cabin, part grown-up fort. You’ll climb a short staircase into the canopy and trade ground-level noise for birdsong and lake views.
It’s one of the unique stays at Fire Tower Camp, a 300+ acre playground where you can hike wooded trails, paddle a kayak from the shoreline, climb aboard a real fire truck, and watch our historic fire tower take shape as it’s rebuilt. You’ll share the property with other guests, but there’s plenty of space to find your own stretch of forest or shoreline.
Inside, the treehouse keeps it simple—warm wood, big windows, and a bed made for long sleeps after full days. There’s a small kitchen for easy meals, but the deck might be your real dining room—it’s where coffee tastes better, sunsets linger longer, and you start wondering why you don’t live in a tree full-time.
It’s not fancy. It’s not trying to be. It’s just a good place to disappear for a while—with the lake at your toes, the trees at your back, and a whole camp to explore.
